Michigan Farm Bureau’s stable of regional managers welcomes back Merrill native Matt Frollo, returning to the fold after a tour of duty with Farm Bureau Insurance. Frollo began work assigned to the organization’s Northwest Region Sept. 3, working in support of Farm Bureau members in Benzie, Grand Traverse, Leelanau, Manistee, Mason and Wexford counties.
Frollo comes to Michigan Farm Bureau from Prior to Frollo’s stint as an agent with Farm Bureau Insurance of Michigan, he was MFB’s North Regional Manager, working with members in six counties across the northernmost Lower Peninsula. He has worked in and around agriculture his entire life and brings with him more than 16 years of experience as a winemaker, cellarmaster, marketer, compliance officer, salesman and production manager.
As regional manager, Frollo will be responsible for implementing county, state and national policies and programs in five county Farm Bureaus: Benzie-Manistee, Mason, Missaukee, Northwest Michigan and Wexford.
Frollo earned his bachelor’s in horticulture from Michigan State University.
Outside work he can often be found coaching or cheering on one of his two children at a sporting event. He also enjoys golfing, hiking and spending time with his family.
