Michigan Farm Bureau election expert Matt Kapp says local elections are a critical opportunity to influence local decisions for the benefit of agriculture, their businesses, and families.
“In many local elections voter turnout can be low, and results margins are often close,” said Kapp, “which makes your vote even more important to your community.”
“Our organization’s member-developed elections policy has long encouraged participation in this democratic process as well as urging members to be knowledgeable about ballot proposals, so it’s our hope many members make it out to vote on Tuesday,” he added.
