Missaukee County Farm Bureau's Promotion & Education team worked with the public libraries in McBain and Lake City to share prominent agricultural displays for National Ag Week (March 21-27) and beyond!
P&E Chair Ellen Vanderwal called upon several local farm-friendly businesses and ag organizations to donate prizes for adults and youngsters alike — with encouraging results that went over big with all the lucky recipients!
At both libraries, any patron who checked out a book was entered in a drawing to win one of the Ag Week prize packages.
“Missaukee County Farm Bureau sends a big thank-you to both our local libraries for celebrating Ag Week, and for acknowledging our farmers and ranchers for all they provide for us,” Vanderwal said. “Thanks also to the agricultural businesses for the great donations!”
