Farm Bureau family members studying agriculture at MSU — or one of its 13 AIT programs statewide — should seriously consider applying for a Marge Karker Scholarship.
Date Posted: May 13, 2026

One of the many benefits of being a member or dependent in a Farm Bureau family is the opportunity to apply for the Marge Karker Scholarship!

Since 1967, MFB’s Marge Karker Scholarships have supported hundreds of students pursuing agriculture-related certificates and degrees at Michigan State University.

The scholarship is awarded annually to multiple MSU students enrolled in an ag-focused programs, pursuing bachelor’s or graduate-level degrees — and students enrolled in MSU’s two-year Institute of Agricultural Technology, whether in East Lansing or at one of 13 satellite campuses across the state.

That education’s not getting any cheaper, so don’t miss this opportunity to invest in your future. Applications for our 2026 Marge Karker Scholarships are due June 30.

P.S.: Who was Marge Karker, anyway?
