Aaron Martin-Green began work Aug. 25 as Michigan Farm Bureau’s new member benefits specialist, part of the new Brand and Content Marketing Department, part of MFB’s Communications, Media and Marketing division.

Martin-Green will manage MFB’s portfolio of member benefit programs, manage vendor partnerships, ensure contract compliance, analyze program performance and identify opportunities to enhance and expand offerings.

He will collaborate with the communications and marketing team, field staff, county Farm Bureaus and customer service teams to address issues related to member benefits and their promotion, develop training resources and ensure Farm Bureau members have accurate, engaging information about savings programs.

Martin-Green brings to Farm Bureau an impressive background in program management, vendor relations and member engagement. Most recently he served as an associate claims representative for Auto-Owners Insurance, where he investigated and settled claims while honing his customer service and process management skills.

Prior to that he gained experience in academic advising and diversity program coordination at Lansing Community College; admissions and recruitment leadership at Central Michigan University and Davenport University; and marketing and outreach for community engagement programs.

Martin-Green holds both a master’s in administration and a bachelor’s in communication from Central Michigan University. (Fire up, Chips!) His talents in relationship building, managing complex projects and delivering exceptional service makes him a strong and welcome addition to the Farm Bureau team.

Martin-Green lives in Lansing with his wife Tori and their young daughter Blakely — and very soon a second baby girl!

Outside work he enjoys sports and is a die-hard University of Michigan fan. At CMU he took part in competitive cheer, including a broadcast on ESPN.
