Michigan Farm Bureau is asking members and supporters to sign a petition supporting Michigan’s priorities in the 2023 Farm Bill by visiting https://bit.ly/MIFarmBillPetition or texting ‘MIFARMBILL’ to 52886.

“Pledging your support by signing the petition is another way we can demonstrate the importance of farm bill programs to consumers and decisionmakers alike,” said MFB National Legislative Counsel John Kran.

“The petition helps us show members of Congress, regulatory leaders, and other influential groups how important it is for the farm bill to be completed on time, before it expires September 30.

“260 Congressional members have never voted on a farm bill so it’s up to us to tell our story and share why these programs are irreplaceable to our farms, families and businesses.”
