Updated White-Reinhardt Grant apps available

Muskegon County Farm Bureau put White-Reinhardt grant monies to good use, developing a series of ag-commodity posters for use in outreach activities like this farmers market.

The American Farm Bureau Foundation for Agriculture has announced changes to its White-Reinhardt Grant program. Applications will now be accepted annually, with a June 16 deadline.

White-Reinhardt Grants of up to $1,000 are available to support new or existing county Farm Bureaus Promotion & Education projects for grades K-12. Grant program criteria haven’t changed — only the schedule.

Funds are paid directly to county Farm Bureaus and may not be used for mileage, field trips, wages or benefits, safety programs, or one-time consumable items such as copying, printing, seeds or meals.

Review the application and scoring rubric on the AFB Foundation site to plan your application.

Application and instructions available on the AFBF Foundation for Agriculture website. Apply by June 16, 2023.
