Kent County Farm Bureau Scholarship

Any Kent County resident who is a high school senior enrolled in an institution of higher education, or who is currently attending a vocational, 2-year, or 4-year study program may apply. 

Preference will be given to Kent County Farm Bureau members and dependents of members, as well as to those studying agriscience, and those studying in Michigan. Involvement in community service, 4-H, FFA, Young Farmers, or agriculture-related work experience is a plus.

Applicants must 

  • have a GPA of 3.0 or above
  • provide a reference letter either from a Kent County Farm Bureau voting member or a person in an agriculture-related field 

Awardees must attend either a Board of Directors meeting (third Wednesdays 7:00pm) or the County Annual Meeting to receive the funds.

SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

* Scholarships and grants are available for up to $10,000, as determined by Kent County Farm Bureau Board of Directors. The 2026 application closes on August 1, 2026.
