You are invited to Farmland transfer and succession in SW Michigan workshop on Friday, August 1, 2025, from 9-11am at the Berrien County Health Department building in Benton Harbor, Mi. This is a free in-person workshop focused on farm transfer and succession and farmland access and affordability. Join attorney Jerry Cosgrove and land protection project manager, Brian Bourdages from American Farmland Trust to learn more about these topics and ask questions about your farm situation. This event will support both beginning and retiring farmers and will help farm advisors and local agencies understand these important topics. Register by July 25th. The event is hosted by Michigan Agriculture Advancement, American Farmland Trust, County of Berrien, Berrien County Conservation District, Berrien County Farm Bureau and Chikaming Open Lands.
