Toss for a Cause: Cornhole for Hunger Tournament 2026

August 14, 2026 12:30pm - 2:30pm

Call:

The Jackson County Farm Bureau Young Farmer Committee are hosting their 13th annual Cornhole for Hunger Tournament on Friday, August 14, during fair week at the Jackson County Fairgrounds in the covered livestock arena. The event begins at 12:30 p.m. (following the beef cow show), with registration at 11:30 a.m. Participants pay $15 (cash only) and receive lunch and a t-shirt, with competitions divided into three age groups (8-12 years, 13-17 years, and 18 years and older).

All proceeds help fight hunger locally by purchasing livestock from the 4-H auction, which is processed and donated to area food pantries. Supported by community sponsors since 2013, the event has helped provide over 9,000 pounds of meat to those in need.

Community members are encouraged to participate, sponsor, or get involved by visiting michfb.com/Jackson, or contacting the office for more information at (517) 784-9166.
