Replacement Cost Information

The policy may be endorsed to change the physical damage loss settlement provision from actual cash value to replacement cost. Replacement Cost pays for the cost of a new auto, pickup, or van of the same make and model and with similar equipment as the damaged vehicle, if readily available.

Losses caused by fire, theft or larceny, or malicious mischief or vandalism will be settled at actual cash value.

This settlement option is only available to the original owner of vehicles that are less than 3 model years old. Replacement Cost is not available to leased vehicles.

Replacement Cost Loss Settlement is an optional coverage available on the Farm Bureau Insurance Personal Automobile policy.
