2023 Young Farmer Award winners recognized
Five talented Young Farmers who competed in four categories received their awards Nov. 28 at Michigan Farm Bureau’s 104th State Annual Meeting in Grand Rapids. They are Elaine Palm, Drew Bordner, Mitch and Brandie Kline, and Chris and Jackie Sanford.
Farm Bureau Insurance agents, volunteers honored with Key Club awards
Since 1982, Key Club agents and volunteers have written thousands of new farmer members into the organization. Michigan Farm Bureau and Farm Bureau Insurance of Michigan staff honored more than 30 of those recipients (pictured above) Nov. 29 during Michigan Farm Bureau’s State Annual Meeting.
Learning is Fun at the FARM Science Lab
The FARM Science Lab is like a field trip that comes to the school. Students get to learn ag-accurate lessons and do some hands-on activities, teachers get to participate in a lesson they don't have to plan, and everyone gets to know more about and feel connected to the food, fuel, and fiber in their everyday lives.
