Hello! I’m Tim Dilts, and I’m excited to officially introduce myself as part of the Michigan Farm Bureau team. I started in late October as MFB’s new manager of brand and content marketing, an exciting new position touching member benefits, social media and member communications.

I’ve always believed that great marketing is really about storytelling: sharing real stories from real people that reflect purpose, passion and impact. That belief is what drew me to Michigan Farm Bureau. The opportunity to help tell the stories of Michigan farmers, rural communities and the work being done every day to protect and strengthen agriculture in our state is something I’m genuinely proud to be part of.

Before joining Farm Bureau, I spent several years at Güd Marketing, an advertising agency in Lansing, where I worked in a variety of leadership roles overseeing multi-channel marketing campaigns across digital, print and events. I loved the creative challenge of building brands and driving results, but what I enjoy most is connecting people to something bigger than themselves. That’s exactly what Michigan Farm Bureau represents: a shared mission, a strong sense of community, and a deep connection to the land, food and people of Michigan.

In my new role here I’ll be focused on helping elevate our voice and ensure we’re telling consistent, compelling stories that reflect who we are and why our work matters. Whether it’s highlighting member benefits, sharing success stories, or celebrating the next generation of agricultural leaders, my goal is to help amplify the mission, vision and purpose that unite us as Farm Bureau members.

Outside of work, I’m a husband and dad first. My wife and I live in DeWitt with our two kids, and much of our “free” time revolves around family activities, youth sports and being involved in our local community. Living in a small-town setting has reinforced for me how important connection, trust and shared values are — many of the same principles that make Farm Bureau so strong.

I’m grateful for the warm welcome I’ve already received and truly look forward to learning from our members, county leaders and staff across the state. I’m excited to help tell your stories and be part of a community that is shaping the future of Michigan agriculture.

I’m glad to be here and even more excited for what’s ahead.
