MFB scholarships available for GLLA Emerging Leader Program; apply by Dec. 1

Michigan Farm Bureau has $7,000 in scholarship funds set aside for members interested in participating in the Great Lakes Leadership Academy's Emerging Leader Program next year.
Date Posted: October 28, 2021

Imagine how Michigan’s future would look if every leader had the tools to build trusting relationships among diverse groups, understood how to develop strength and flexibility in managing conflict, and sought out collaborative opportunities to create positive change.

It's all on the agenda of the Great Lakes Leadership Academy’s Emerging Leader Program, now seeking applicants from diverse backgrounds who:

  • Are willing to stretch outside their comfort zone and intentionally engage in personal growth and development.
  • Possess a level of maturity and self-awareness necessary to take full advantage of this learning opportunity and apply the knowledge in their life.
  • Aspire to lead for the common good to enhance the quality of life in Michigan and beyond.

The program consists of three, four-day sessions in April, July and October 2022. Tuition is $3,500, which includes all training, session materials, lodging and meals. A limited number of scholarships are available.

Michigan Farm Bureau has earmarked $7,000 in scholarship funds for members interested in participating. For more information, contact Alex Schanbelrauch, 989-620-0354.

Applications are due Dec. 1. Click here for more information or email [email protected].
