Each year Genesee County Farm Bureau awards two scholarships to students pursuing a degree related to agriculture. The available scholarships are the Thomas Jennings Memorial Scholarship for $1500 and the Genesee County Farm Bureau scholarship for $1000. Interested students must fill out an application and submit two written essay responses on agricultural discussion topics listed with the application. A committee reviews the scholarship submissions and determines student awards.
We are pleased to announce Chrystee Kerley as the 2023 Thomas Jennings Memorial Scholarship award recipient and Lacy Birchmeier as the 2023 recipient of the Genesee County Farm Bureau Scholarship.
