Best, widely recognized as an authority on the financial stability of the insurance industry, once again rated Farm Bureau Insurance of Michigan’s Life Company as A (Excellent) with a stable outlook. The organization’s Property and Casualty Companies also received an A- (Excellent) rating and was identified as having a stable outlook.

Farm Bureau Insurance continues the next phase of its statewide We’re in This Together initiative, by announcing that it will give back $8 million in premium credits to its personal auto policyholders across the state.

Farm Bureau Insurance of Michigan has partnered with the Michigan Fitness Foundation for over twenty years to encourage physical activity among Michigan students. All Children Exercising Simultaneously (ACES Day) is traditionally celebrated with interactive events across the state of Michigan in early spring each year. In 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic threatened to interrupt this year’s event, scheduled for May 6th. There is now a solution in place allowing the it to go on, virtually, on its scheduled date.

With generous donations from farmers, insurance agents, members, employees and county Farm Bureaus, the Farm Bureau Family of Companies donated 1.1 million meals worth of support to families impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Farm Bureau Insurance of Michigan Agent Charitable Fund (ACF) has donated $41,400 to seven regional food banks amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. The donations will help the food banks continue to meet the increasing demands for food assistance throughout their county service areas.

The Michigan Farm Bureau Family of Companies presented a $14,350 check to the Greater Lansing Food Bank on March 3rd, 2020. The donation was made possible by employees who, each year, have the opportunity to make a contribution to the food bank in lieu of receiving a holiday ham from the organization.

The Michigan High School Athletic Association has selected 32 student-athletes from Class A, B, C, and D member schools to receive scholarships through the MHSAA/Farm Bureau Insurance Scholar-Athlete Award program.
